ATHLETICS | The 2017-18 athletics year is off and running! Already, we’ve seen men and women’s soccer take to the new-look field at Sullivan Field and volleyball hit the Gersten Pavilion court under a new coaching staff. In addition, perhaps the most noticeable change throughout this upcoming school year will be the new adidas gear that all LMU teams will be wearing during competition, practices, and around campus.
On June 1, Loyola Marymount University announced a seven-year partnership with adidas. With the new all-school deal, the Portland, Oregon-based company will be the official athletic footwear, apparel, equipment and accessory brand of the Lions through the 2023-24 season for our 22 intercollegiate athletic teams. adidas will also provide apparel and accessories for coaches and athletic staff.
