Thank You, Ray Dennis

UNIVERSITY BULLETINS | Associate Vice President of Auxiliary Management Ray Dennis has announced his retirement:

Dear Members of the LMU Community:

It is with mixed emotions that I share the news that Ray Dennis, associate vice president of auxiliary management, is retiring, effective July 20, 2018.

Ray began his LMU tenure in the Controller’s Office in 1991 as the university bursar, responsible for oversight of tuition receivables management, collections, and cash management initiatives. For many years, Ray was instrumental in advancing the student financial services receivables operations, development, and modernization until assuming his role in auxiliary management and business services. In his current role, Ray strengthened LMU’s business partnerships and led the university forward as an innovative, and creative organization in higher education. Peer institutions consistently have looked to LMU as an exemplar for business services and auxiliary programs.

After retiring from LMU, Ray will be involved full-time in a leadership role with his faith community. We will miss his camaraderie in the office, but we are happy for Ray as he takes his next step.

In Ray’s announcement to his team, he shared a quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: “All labor that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence.”  I want to thank Ray for carrying out his work over his 27 years at LMU in the spirt of that quote.

Please join me in wishing Ray the best in his future endeavors.

Thank you,

Signature 300x95 - Thank You, Ray Dennis
