CONFERENCE AND EVENT SERVICES | Frequent event schedulers were informed last week of an exciting change in the event reservation process. Beginning this month, faculty and staff will have the ability to book rooms and other facilities directly through the university’s scheduling software, 25Live. This change will allow Conference and Event Services to operate in a more streamlined manner by granting the campus community the ability to check real-time availability and directly reserve their desired locations.
“We are proud to be sharing the 25Live platform with the entire campus this fall,” said Trish Carlson, director of Conference and Event Services. “This implementation will empower our users by allowing them to check event space availability day or night. It will also automate the reservation request for a more efficient and streamlined process from start to finish.”
The last day the current event request form will be active is Oct. 1. After that, users will be required to use 25Live, as all requests will then be automated through that system.
Given this major change to the university booking procedure, several training dates have been set up in the month of September. Training dates can be found at: https://doodle.com/poll/hiyxiaiihzapey8h. For those who will need to schedule events on campus, attending at least one of these trainings is required. More dates and times may be added, if necessary.
One further booking note: Here is the list of University Tier 1 dates, during which the university designates priority to these events. All university resources and services are restricted to these events and no others will be authorized:

- Open House, Oct. 6-7
- Family Weekend, Feb. 15-17
- Preview Day, April 13-14
- LMU Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement, May 8-14
- Loyola Law School Commencement, May 17-19
