ATHLETICS | Between basketball games tonight, Nov. 28, Faculty and Staff Night at Gersten will include a tribute to Senior Vice President Lane Bove.
The women’s team, at 7-0, is the only undefeated team in the West Coast Conference. They tip off at 5 p.m. against Cal State Dominguez Hills and will be followed by the men’s team for a 7:30 game against Cal State L.A. One ticket gets you in to both games.
The women’s team then returns to the bluff Dec. 1 to host USC, another 7-0 team. The men will next travel to Oregon State over the weekend before returning home on Dec. 6 to host Portland State in the team’s first Teddy Bear Toss. Bring a stuffed animal to toss on the court at halftime and receive a discounted ticket. All donated items benefit children in need. The first 500 fans in attendance receive a free ugly holiday sweater T-shirt.
