HR/Learning and Development Workshops

What does financial wellness mean to you?

Maybe you’re trying to take control of debt, build up an emergency savings fund, or invest for college or retirement. Perhaps financial wellness simply means thinking and talking about your money with confidence, rather than anxiety.

We are excited to invite you to a new kind of workshop, focusing on financial wellness. This is not a presentation; it will be a conversation, facilitated by a Transamerica retirement planning consultant. We hope you can join us for one of these sessions:

Financial Foundations 1: We’ll talk about the connection between money and emotions. By understanding the role emotions can play, you’ll be better equipped to make smart financial choices.
Date: Thursday, August 2nd
Time: 12:30p – 1:30p
Location: U-Hall 1900
Register: Angela.horvat@transamerica.com

Financial Foundations 2: We’ll take a look at what credit really means and talk about different ways to pay off debt.
Date: Tuesday, August 14th
Time: 12:15p-1:15p
Location: U-Hall 1900
Register: Angela.horvat@transamerica.com

Investing: When people start to talk about investing around you, do you find yourself at a loss for words? We’ll talk about some basic investing concepts, like asset classes, cash flow, and calculating return on investment (ROI). And you’ll learn about the best part of investing – compound interest.
Date: Thursday, September 13th
Time: 12:30p – 1:30p
Location: U-Hall 1900
Register: Angela.horvat@transamerica.com

Since we want these workshops to be truly conversational, we can only accept 20 attendees [per session]. So, register today, and take control of your financial wellness.
