Two New Student Residential Facilities Coming to LMU

STUDENT HOUSING | LMU is committed to creating a premier residential experience for our students. Our desire is that the university’s residential facilities provide spaces for students to live on campus, thrive personally and grow academically. Over the last few years the demand for on campus housing has begun to exceed the current number of spaces available to our students. The university has been working diligently to address this challenge and develop a solution that will serve our students for years to come.

LMU has partnered with one of the top architectural firms in the nation, Steinberg Hart, and will begin construction on two new residential facilities in 2019. Incorporating feedback from students, faculty and staff, Steinberg Hart has created plans for these new facilities that will replace Huesman Hall and Sullivan Hall. These new facilities will total over 600 beds which will allow LMU to provide housing to an additional 400 students. Construction will begin shortly after the completion of LMU’s 2019 commencement ceremonies. LMU’s new residential facilities are scheduled to open in the Fall of 2020. Additional information on this project will be shared throughout the process.
