UNIVERSITY BULLETINS | The Student Employment Authorization (SEA) system will open for the 2019-20 Academic Year on Thursday, August 1, 2019.
Important SEA dates:
- Aug. 11, 2019 – First day to use AY 2019-20 funds
- Aug. 24, 2019 – Last day to use Summer 2019 work funds.
The 2019-20 Pay Rate Rubric is active in the SEA system and LionJobs. Please reference the Rubric for your planning and hiring decisions.
Reminder – SEAs are created by the supervisor, accepted by the student and authorized by Student Employment Services. The student must have an I-9 Form on file before the SEA can be authorized. All student employees MUST have an authorized SEA for the 2019-20 Academic Year term before they can begin working. Allowing students to work before being authorized is in violation of employment regulations.
All LMU Student Employment job openings should be posted in LionJobs, LMU’s on-campus student job board. Also, consider hiring incoming freshmen and transfer students, they would be a great addition to your department and would greatly benefit from the student employment experience.
