Some Departments Move to New Locations

UNIVERSITY NEWS | Some Loyola Marymount University departments will be settling into new locations when the fall semester begins on Aug. 26, 2019, largely for consolidation purposes. This short guide will help campus community members find the new offices when they need to.

When you need answers about retirement benefits, you can find the Human Resources Transamerica office in University Hall 2302, having relocated from University Hall 4900.

If you’re looking for Graduate Admission, they’ve left University Hall and are now in Von Der Ahe 240.

LMU Extension will gain more visibility for its courses and certificate programs with their move to University Hall 1840, on the first floor in the main atrium.

Academic Affairs support departments, including the Institutional Review Board and Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee office, Institutional Research and Decision Support, are moving to University Hall suite 1863 from their offices in Xavier Hall and elsewhere. The budget department for Academic Affairs is joining them in that suite on the north side of University Hall.

Undergraduate Research and Creative Experience, which offers several programs that support research opportunities – including the annual Undergraduate Research Symposium – can be found in University Hall 1874.

Intercultural Affairs, which focuses on LMU’s diversity and inclusion, and spearheads the university’s Implicit Bias Initiative, is being consolidated into the first floor of Xavier Hall; they had been dispersed among University Hall and Seaver Hall.

Also, the lactation center is moving to University Hall 1718.
