INTERCULTURAL AFFAIRS | The Office of Intercultural Affairs and Human Resources have developed an implicit bias workshop tailored to LMU staff. Through a mix of short presentations, activities, and discussions, the workshop will explore how implicit biases form in our brains, their impact on other people and society, and strategies we can take to mitigate the implicit biases that we all possess.
The upcoming workshops are scheduled as follows:
- Thursday, Sept. 12, 2 – 4 p.m.
- Tuesday, Oct. 15, 10 a.m. – noon
- Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2 – 4 p.m.
- Monday, Dec. 9, 10 a.m. – noon
All workshops for the Fall semester will be held at the HR Training Room, University Hall 1900.
