Global Citizen Day

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS AND SCHOLARS | The Office for International Students and Scholars has partnered with several departments on campus to host Global Citizen Day on Tuesday, Feb. 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Lawton Plaza. Many units and organizations involved in international education on campus will showcase student performances, food, music and opportunities to explore various destinations via virtual reality.

“Global Citizen Day is an important representation of LMU’s commitment to developing engaged global citizens creating the world in which we want to live, not limited to our own borders,” said Csilla Samay, assistant dean for international students and initiatives.

The departments helping to make this event possible include: the Center for Service and Action, Study Abroad, ASLMU, Global-Local Initiatives, Office of National and International Fellowships, Center for Asian Business and the Global Policy Institute.
