2020 Annual Interfaith Forum

LMU BELLARMINE COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS | The Jewish Studies and Catholic Studies programs at LMU invite you to attend the annual Interfaith Forum. This year’s event will feature Rabbi David Rosen, KSG, CBE. Rabbi Rosen is the Jerusalem-based director of international interreligious affairs for the American Jewish Committee, and director of its Robert and Harriet Heilbrunn Institute for International Interreligious Understanding. His keynote lecture “From Part of the Problem to Part of the Solution: Antisemitism and the Church” will address how the Catholic Church became a powerful defender of the Jewish people after a dramatic theological shift in its teaching regarding Jews and Judaism.

Panel response with Father Alexei Smith, director of ecumenical and interreligious affairs for the Archdiocese of L.A.; and Richard Hirschhaut, director of AJC L.A. Moderated by Father Cyril Hovorun, acting director of the Huffington Ecumenical Institute.
