Workday Transition: Recruiting and Hiring Software Begins Sunsetting May 28

PROPEL LMU | In preparation for LMU’s transition to Workday, software supporting LMU recruiting and hiring initiatives (including PeopleAdmin for faculty and staff, and LionJobs and SEA for students) will commence a brief offline period before relaunching in Workday on June 28.

The full offline schedule is as follows:

Staff: 

  • June 4: last day to submit fully approved job requisitions in PeopleAdmin
  • June 26: last day for applicants to apply to a job posting in PeopleAdmin

Faculty: 

  • May 28: last day to submit fully approved job requisitions in PeopleAdmin for part-time faculty
  • June 15: last day for applicants to apply to a part-time faculty posting in PeopleAdmin
  • June 17: last day to submit fully approved job requisitions in PeopleAdmin for full-time faculty
  • December 3: last day for applicants to apply to a full-time faculty posting in PeopleAdmin (via unique URL)

Student Employees: 

  • June 11 at 4pm: last day to hire LLS students for summer 2021
  • June 17 at 5pm: last day to hire Westchester students for summer 2021

If you currently have a job opening for which you are hiring, the HR recruiter for the position will contact you directly to help you navigate the transition to Workday. All other recruiting and hiring initiatives will be available again starting June 28, in the new Workday system. The university thanks you for your patience during the transition, as this offline period is necessary for the university to transfer all data from the old system to Workday.
