Lion Connection Brings LMU Community Together

CONTINUITY OF COMMUNITY | One of the strongest aspects about the LMU campus is the community of care. Those who work and learn at LMU attest to the value of how relationships are built across divisions.

To alleviate some of the social distancing the current situation has created, the Office of Intercultural Affairs introduces Lion Connection, a fun and casual way to connect the community together. Through Lion Connection, LMU students, faculty and staff will engage in a 30-minute virtual coffee klatch with another community member, then later meet up with other pairs for a fun and friendly conversation.

Here’s how it works: Intercultural Affairs will pair a Lion with another LMU community member whom, ideally, you do not know. Then, the pair schedule a time that works for the both of them. OIA will give a few prompting questions to guide the discussion. After the initial meeting, pairs can join other pairs in a final meet-up and win prizes.

Take this time to learn more about each other, share innovative ideas, and develop a connection in a fun way that can continue until the LMU community returns to campus.

Anyone interested in participating in Lion Connection may sign up here. Ongoing signups will be accepted, and matches will be made each week.
