Children’s Center Offers Online Instruction

LMU CHILDREN’S CENTER | The LMU Children’s Center will be launching an early childhood online instruction program based on curriculum guidelines from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

LMUCC’s online instruction program offers a high-quality, comprehensive curriculum, with content areas that will include, but not be limited to: early literacy, social studies, early math, early science, health, music and movement, art appreciation, and enrichment programs. The curriculum is inspired by children’s interests to support an educational experience during this unprecedented time.

The LMUCC online instruction program will be facilitated in small cohorts of approximately eight to 10 children. The program offers two scheduling options, each with morning and afternoon components. The first option will be daily (Monday-Friday) and the second option will be three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The center will be extending this online instruction program for children 1 to 6 years of age to all LMU faculty, staff, students and the greater community.

The program starts Aug. 17, 2020, and will conclude Dec. 18, 2020.
