STUDENT AFFAIRS | Student Psychological Services (SPS) has earned re-accreditation from the International Association of Counseling Services, Inc. SPS was evaluated on its compliance with IACS standards, the highest standards available for campus counseling centers, and was found to maintain high levels of service for LMU students.
IACS evaluates many key program functions and found that SPS offers:
- A wide array of comprehensive services to serve the mental health needs of LMU students;
- Dedicated and competent staff;
- Timely and helpful response to emergency situations;
- Augmented existing services including Therapy Assistance Online, a campus wellness initiative and the addition of a health educator to its staff.
