“LMU Common Book Author Talk: Hanif Abdurraqib” on Nov 5 at 12p PT

The William H. Hannon Library and the Academic Resource center are collaborating once again to engage our students through the LMU Common Book program, which this year features Hanif Abdurraqib, author if Go Ahead in the Rain: Notes to a Tribe Called Quest. Poet and artist Abdurraqib will speak with our campus community on Nov. 5 about his book, the role of Black art, and our current cultural moment, in conversation the Evelyn McDonnell (LMU) and DJ Lynnee Denise (Cal StateLA). You can learn more about the book, see a video from Hanif to our campus community, and engage with others reading the book on the new Brightspace page.
