STAFF SENATE | Our holiday break is around the corner! Let’s have some creative fun with those holiday-themed masks, ugly sweaters, and ornament treasures, when Zoom comes to call with the season of holiday spirit.
Join your LMU staff colleagues and submit your best, most impressive, and/or zaniest expressions of holiday joy. Photo entries from 2020 are welcome but previous years’ celebrations are fair game, too!
Entries accepted from all staff members until Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 11:59 p.m.
Voting period: Wednesday, Dec. 16 – Thursday, Dec. 17
Winners announced: Friday, Dec. 18
Categories:
- Best Holiday Mask: Your most festive PPE for public health! Send 2020 out in style.
- Ugliest Holiday Sweater: New or vintage, bedecked or bedraggled, let’s see ’em. Ugliness is in the eye of the beholder.
- Quirkiest Holiday Ornament: Whether a great-aunt’s heirloom, a Vegas souvenir, a thrift shop treasure or something in between, give us your best conversation-starter decoration.
- Best Holiday Photo: Individual, group, family, and/or pets welcome, from any decade. What photo says “Holidays 2020” to you?
First-, second-, and third-place winners will receive $100, $50, and $25 Amazon gift cards, respectively. All voting participants will also be entered in a drawing for one of (10) $25 Amazon gift cards.
Rules: One entry per person for each category. If an individual submits multiple entries in the same category, we’ll use the last one received. Entries close Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 11:59 pm.
