Employees (including faculty, staff, and contract employees) are strongly encouraged to be immunized against influenza unless contraindicated by personal medical conditions. While the seasonal flu vaccine does not prevent COVID-19, the common flu is widespread and if you don’t get sick, you won’t need to worry about the symptoms aligning with those of COVID-19.
