LMU Center for Ignatian Spirituality Celebrates 20 Years of Service

MISSION AND MINISTRY | As LMU faculty and staff “return” to campus and learn to navigate the new norm during the pandemic, there seems to be a greater need for the Center for Ignatian Spirituality to provide the spiritual discernment, guidance, and support for our faculty and staff. Here at the center, you can come for pastoral support or learn ways to maneuver through the challenges facing us today, both professional and personal.

This year, the Center for Ignatian Spirituality celebrates its 20th anniversary of service to LMU faculty and staff. Through the years, lasting and meaningful friendships have developed, as exemplified in the center’s virtual celebratory website. Faculty and staff who participated in this spiritual journey share how the center has enriched and impacted their lives and of their continuing involvement with the center.

Randy Roche, S.J., director of the center, and Wayne Negrete, S.J., assistant director, are invaluable to the LMU community as pastoral and spiritual advisors in the Ignatian tradition. They personify the very mission of LMU: to embrace the whole person by providing the tools for reflection and careful decision-making. Whether one on one or in a small group, the center is here to help us become more spiritually centered to better deal with our daily experiences and challenges.

Father Randy and Father Wayne welcome you to the center and look forward to accompanying you on your spiritual journey. Email: ignacio@lmu.edu
